Philosophy: My philosophy of education is that Physical Educators have the biggest influence on children because we see them almost every day in settings from inside the gym to outside working on skills. Also we are the ones who can change their lifestyle from sedentary to active. I want to change the way Physical Educators teach and want to be involved with the students. All students should be involved in the class, and involved equally with all the other students. I believe children learn best when they have optimal practice time. As a result of this belief, I value the time students are actively involved in activity and try to efficiently use the time I spend on instruction. I also want to make sure the students learn the skill/activity for life, not just in class and forget about it. Students should be able to improve on what they have already learned, because this is the only way they will live a healthy lifestyle for the rest of their life.
